WIND DIAL

2017, Real-time wind data, painted aluminum, magnet, needle, custom hardware and software

The Wind Dial functions similarly to a sun dial, but it uses real-time wind data to adjust & affect clock dial. Its dial arm is geared to move at a standard rate, however when the piece connects to the internet, it pulls local wind speed and direction data, which affects the clocks rotation, and causes the clock to move faster or slower.
