OUT OF PHASE / DISSONANT DRAWINGS
Out of Phase/Dissonant Drawings were first generated with custom software, using the coding language Processing. The software uses a custom algorithm to create a base circle form, then displaces and connects a second, parametric form with hundreds of lines at their intersecting vectors. Using a marker or pen inserted into the cutting head of a CNC, an industrial machine normally used to carve wood and metal, the images are programmed, and drawn on paper by the machine, line by line.
